Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of MMC Norilsk Nickel held on December 11 approved dividend payments for 9M 2014 in the amount of RUB 762.34 per ordinary share.
Earlier Board of Directors recommended shareholders to assign dividends for the last year at the rate of $2.78 mlrd including retained profit from previous years.
From January to September of 2013 MMC paid about 34.9 mlrd rub ($1.1 mlrd). Thus, rate of dividends may increase 2.5 times.
