CINEMA PARK WILL INSTALL 3D TECHNOLOGY EQUIPMENT BY THE LEADING 3D PROVIDER REALD IN UP TO 200 MOVIE HALLS
The biggest Russian national movie theatre chain Cinema Park and RealD company, the leading provider of 3D technology for movie halls, have signed a deal to install RealD 3D motion-picture projection system in chain's movie halls. 

The partnership deal involves installing RealD 3d technology in up to 200 Cinema Park movie halls in 5 years and includes a deal to establish new premium concept LUXE: RealD experience in one of the movie halls in St. Petersburg (movie halls that meet standards and specifications of LUXE: RealD experience are equipped with a big screen with increased brightness for 2D and 3D images, first-class 3D-sound and comfortable seats). 

Sergey Kitin, Cinema Park CEO: “18 biggest Russian cities where Cinema Park theaters are situated, will have the ability ti see movies on a special silver screen with enhanced brightness and definition RealD, which cannot be achieved with different technology. Now world-class quality standards will be available not only for cinema-goers in Moscow and St. Petersburg, but for residents of the most distant cities of our country. Furthermore, LUXE: RealD experience concept in comparison to common movie halls implicates big screen with enhanced brightness and definition and unexceptional 3D sound. All combined, it will help to improve quality and redefine premium film presentation”.

Contract with Cinema Park is an evidence of RealD's brisk growth in Russian market. The company has opened headquarters in Moscow, and the new deal continues a series of arrangements with Kinomax, Karo Film and Mirage Cinema movie theatre chains.
