On September 12, 2010, the Presidential Palace in Nicosia hosted the Fourth Cyprus-Russia Charity Gala. All proceeds went to Radiomarathon Foundation for Children with Special Needs.

During the Gala, the president of the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Demetris Christofias awarded Vladimir Potanin with the Golden Olive Branch state diploma in gratitude for his profound and ongoing contribution to the development of cultural relations and the strengthening of the existing friendly relations between Cyprus and Russia.

The programme featured performances by the leading Cypriot, Russian and Greek artists in classical, folk and pop styles as well as dance troupes: KREMLIN Chamber Orchestra and Ljuba Kazarnovskaya, the ensemble of Lundstrem State Jazz Orchestra, Alexander Rozenbaum, Antonis Remos and DanceCyprus.

This year the Gala evening celebrated the 50th Anniversary of Cyprus and the establishment of diplomatic relations between Cyprus and Russia.
