An exhibition of Vladimir Potanin’s Olympic Collection opened in the Minsk City Hall on June 21 on the occasion of the 2nd European Games.

Vladimir Potanin, a longstanding trustee of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation, has endowed a new fellowship for the conservation of contemporary art at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York.

Vladimir Potanin Foundation was places seventh in the list in terms of the budget size with a budget of 336.5 million rubles in 2014.

This year the Foundation received 419 applications from different Russian museums. The expert council selected winners in 18 nominations. In 2016, «Museums and Museum Community» nomination became the most popular category among Russian museum professionals, with almost 160 application received.

The Vladimir Potanin Foundation announced the results of the grant competition, which started in January 2014 in the framework of the Olympic Scholarships Program. The purpose of the program is to help future sports managers to get a quality professional education in the Russian International Olympic University (RIOU) in Sochi.
