Norilsk Nickel, Russias largest mining company, and Rio Tinto, one ofthe worlds largest mining companies, today announced the creation ofRioNor Exploration, ajoint exploration and development company inRussia.

The insured value exceeded $84 mln, the ship-owners liability insurance was limited to $50 mln.The dieselelectric ship the Norilsk Nickel, with a deadweight of 14500 tonnes, is a Double Acting Ship that is capable of sailing in conditions of 1.5 metres of arctic ice.

Norilsk Nickel tanker is a Double Acting Ship that iscapable ofsailing inconditions of1.5metres ofarctic ice.

The deal will bemade through Smart Hydrogen, ajoint venture ofthe Interros investors and Norilsk Nickel, formed toparticipate inthe global hydrogen economy.
